Kathleen Krucoff

Jewelry Designer/Craftsman/Owner

I have never been one to color inside the lines so why should my work be constrained by any limits? Being creative is a way of life for me. My work is comprised of silver, gold, natural stones, gemstones and any material that calls to me in the creative process.

From the very beginning of my journey as a metalsmith in 2008, one of my goals has been to create unique, one-of-a-kind wearable art. I consider the jewelry I make to be personal adornments, as distinctive as the person who wears it.

My father was a landscaper and he taught me to love and respect nature. I think that is why you will find my work tends to have an earthy, organic quality. My maternal grandfather was a farrier and I’d like to think because of him, the desire to work with metal exists somewhere in my DNA.

While I grew up in Northern Illinois, today I call Colorado home. The rugged beauty of the Rocky Mountains has captured my heart.

I am grateful for the gifts God has given me.

Dan Krucoff

Principle Photographer

In addition to being my husband and best friend, Dan is my creative partner and exclusive photographer for all of my work. His skilled eye, coupled with attention to detail produces wonderful photography of any artist’s work.

He lends a quiet calm and wisdom to our labors. His own creativity is expressed through his nature and wildlife photography which you can see on his website, Suffering From Exposure.

Thorin

Studio Mascots

My wonderful mascots have changed over the years. Currently I have one remaining basset hound, the loving and sometimes crazy, Thorin. My studio would not be complete without the quiet presence of my beloved companion keeping me company.

This is my space, my sanctuary where I work, meditate, and strive to grow as an artist. It is filled with items that inspire, such as word plaques that spell out Joy, Love, Blessed & Believe. Outside my window are views of aspens, the Rocky Mountains and wildlife. I am very grateful for the blessings I have received.

In Loving Memory

My past furry companions who have crossed the rainbow bridge. They have left huge paw prints on my heart. I will miss them until we are reunited one day in the future.
